Welcome to IHS Wisdom (IHSW.org). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online meditation programs, study courses, membership services, community features, and related offerings (collectively, the “Services”) operated by IHS Wisdom (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

1. Our Services

IHS Wisdom provides online meditation, wisdom studies, courses, and related educational and community content. Our Services are for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

2. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and update it as necessary.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms.

3. Payments and Subscriptions

  • All fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices and payment terms are displayed at the time of purchase.
  • We use secure third-party payment processors. You agree to their terms where applicable.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refund Policy: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new course enrolments if you have not accessed more than 20% of the content. No refunds are provided for digital downloads, completed courses, or after the guarantee period. Membership fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
    Refunds (where approved) will be processed to the original payment method.

4. Intellectual Property

  • All content on IHSW.org (courses, meditations, videos, audio, text, images, materials, logos, etc.) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for personal study and practice during your subscription or enrolment period.
  • You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly perform, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission.
  • Any user-generated content (forum posts, comments, journals) you post grants us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, and display it in connection with the Services.

5. User Conduct and Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others.
  • Share account access or course materials with non-subscribers.
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property, is defamatory, obscene, or harmful.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services.
  • Use the Services in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our systems.

We may remove any user content that violates these Terms.

6. Health and Wellbeing Disclaimer

Our meditation and study courses are for educational and personal development purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you have any mental health conditions, physical health issues, or are pregnant, consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating. You participate at your own risk. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the Services.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, or specific results from meditation or study practices.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), we exclude all liability for any loss or damage (including indirect, consequential, or incidental loss) arising from your use of the Services.
  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at our discretion if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately, but any provisions that by their nature should survive will continue.

You may cancel your account or subscription at any time via your account settings.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy which forms part of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
